This one-day, 6–8 hour course covers the essential knowledge, skills, and attitude needed to safely own and operate a revolver and semi-automatic pistol.

     You’ll learn firearm safety, handgun parts and action types, ammunition basics, safe handling, storage, malfunctions, and the five fundamentals of marksmanship. The course includes both classroom and range instruction, with handguns provided if needed.    

     $175 course fee + $20 range fee

CCW Renewal – Placer, Sacramento

& Yolo Counties

     This required 8-hour CCW renewal course includes in-person instruction, a written test, instructional videos, practical training, and shooting qualification.

     Topics include California and federal firearm laws, SB2 requirements, safe handling and storage, transportation, maintenance, ammunition, holsters, de-escalation and threat assessment, firearm responsibilities, and law enforcement encounters.

$100 for up to 3 firearms + $20 range fee
Range fee is payable on the day of class.

     Our approximately 16-hour, SB2-compliant course covers essential California and federal firearm laws, firearm safety, storage, transportation, maintenance, ammunition, holsters, de-escalation, threat assessment, and responsible firearm ownership.

     The course includes in-person instruction, written testing, practical training, and range qualification.

$175 for up to 3 firearms + $20 range fee
Range fee payable on the day of class.

     Book this class if you need to do a shooting qualification for an online CCW course, a Non-Resident CCW, or a CCW Modification for Sacramento, Placer, or Yolo County.

     $150.00 plus $20.00 Range Fee payable the day of the range.

     Perfect for travelers! This 4-hour, non-shooting course covers the Utah Multi-State CCW permit process and requirements. The permit provides reciprocity in numerous states and is renewable online every 5 years.

     After class, you’ll receive the application, fingerprint card, and passport photo needed to apply.
